I am a former Neonatal Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University. I have more than 12 years of experience working with babies in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and supporting parents with the care of their newborns at home. I have been part of NICUs at different hospitals in South Florida including South Miami hospital from Baptist Healthcare System. have also been part of the National program of Maternal Health and Child Care in the community NFP Nurse Family Partnership.

Since newborn babies wake up to eat every 2-3 hours, exhaustion takes a toll on new parents and the newborn stage can be very overwhelming. It was common to be sleep deprived when you had a baby, but not anymore.
